At BL Duke, we transport over 70% of our recycled material to end consumers via barge, and we’re working to increase that number to 80% by 2030. We eliminate 200 trucks from our roads per month by transferring materials between our Forest View and Joliet, IL locations using our company-owned, dedicated barges.

Trip Notification

Receive trip notification emails when a truck is dispatched to your facility, or when a switch is completed. Notifications are sent in real-time via our GPS driver’s APP. Emails include trip numbers, times, service address and equipment picked-up and delivered numbers.

We take several factors into consideration when determining a price, including scrap market conditions, material type(s), volume(s), frequency, and freight cost.

Industry standard is net-30, however each program is tailored to customer needs.

We’ll work closely with your team to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Prior to the transition, our Dispatch Manager will evaluate your equipment needs and service requirements. A BL Duke representative will be present to oversee the full transition, followed by a meeting with your sales representative to provide a demo our customer portal, options for scheduling pick-ups, and key contact details. You can count on our support every step of the way!

With over 100 company-owned trucks available around the clock, our average response time is just 18 hours.
